Miwa Tucker

Miwa has been research coordinator on the longitudinal study on healthy aging since June 2021. She coordinates the Aging and Cognitive Decline study, a longitudinal study that looks at factors that influence cognitive aging in older adults, such as lifestyle factors to relevant biomarkers. She also works with the African American Outreach team to help recruit and educate the African American and Black community on brain aging research and health. 

Anna Vandebunte, BA

Anna is a doctoral student working with Dr. Kaitlin Casaletto in the Longitudinal Brain Aging Program for the duration of her PhD program. She is interested in cerebrovascular burden as it relates to exercise, cognitive aging and cardiovascular health. Anna is currently conducting her clinical work on the inpatient and rehab units at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.

Wei Ming Watson, PhD

Wei-Ming Watson, PhD, is a queer, Chinese-Swedish American neuropsychology fellow at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center. She is focused on providing culturally-informed neuropsychological care to diverse adults with cognitive disorders, in particular LGBTQIA+ individuals. Her research investigates how experiences of social adversity influence cognition and daily functioning in marginalized communities. She also examines the anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects of cannabinoids in pro-inflammatory diseases.
 

Matthew Wynn, MA

NON-MD TRAINEE

Matthew previously worked at the Memory and Aging Center coordinating the Longitudinal Brain Aging Program from 2013–2015 before leaving to pursue his PhD degree in Clinical Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis. His research during graduate school focused on improving knowledge and awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia.
