Miwa has been research coordinator on the longitudinal study on healthy aging since June 2021. She coordinates the Aging and Cognitive Decline study, a longitudinal study that looks at factors that influence cognitive aging in older adults, such as lifestyle factors to relevant biomarkers. She also works with the African American Outreach team to help recruit and educate the African American and Black community on brain aging research and health.
